Every week we’re going to bring you the best of the week in posts from right here at the CFH blog, news you can use from the CFH site, and new recipes and products you might be interested in.

Let’s start with some awesome new content you can find at the CFH site including recipes, product sales, and brand new content to help you in your cultured kitchen.

New Products

Fermented Vegetable Master Storage Lids

If you’re fermenting vegetables with the Fermented Vegetable Master then having an extra storage lid might be a good idea. Slip off the lid containing the airlock and then slip this extra lid on before storing away your fermented veggies.

This Past Week on the Blog

In case you missed them, here are a few highlights from this past week:

Preparing to Hit the Road: Tucking in and Bringing Along Various Cultures – Julie travels quite a bit for CFH. She’s figured out what to take and what to leave from the culturing cabinet.

Making Chevre is Easy! (video + photo tutorial) – Bonni shows us just how simple making chevre is through her delightful photos and video.

Spiced Pumpkin-Sweet Potato Soup with Kefir – This warming fall soup is made all the better by the addition of tangy, probiotic milk kefir to a warm soup.

Water Kefir: How Changing the Type of Sugar Improved Flavor and Carbonation – In this part of the water kefir series I share how an impromptu change of sweeteners made my water kefir even better.

Which brings us to the next exciting feature of the CFH blog…

Tomorrow, and every Saturday, you can come share your adventures in cultured foods, link up, gain some extra views, and come together for fermentation. We’re hosting the Weekly Cultured Gathering and I’d love to see you there.
