New Recipes & Content

There are a ton of recipes for every cultured food imaginable over on the CFH site. They come from several recipe-developers, myself included, who test recipes for cultured foods in their home kitchens… so you don’t have to. Along with recipes, there are hundreds of expert advice articles, answering all of your fermentation questions.

This Past Week on the Blog

In case you missed them, here are a few highlights from this past week:

A Closer Look: Liquid Vegetable Rennet – Take a look at our vegetable rennet for cheesemaking.

Gluten-free Blueberry Cottage Cheese Pancakes – These pancakes are higher in protein than most pancakes with the addition of cottage cheese and eggs. They don’t need any topping other than a little fresh cultured butter, but a blueberry sauce will make an extra special breakfast treat!

Cultured Banana Cream Pie with Sourdough Pie Crust and Piima Whipped Cream – Please welcome Eve, CFH Customer Support Representative and Cultured Kitchen Keeper… who knocks it out of the park with a banana cream pie recipe.

Savory Sourdough Skillet Pie (using “discarded” sourdough) – My husband said, “This is way better than quiche!”, which is my go-to in a hurry meal. Sounds like a keeper!

Which brings us to the next exciting feature of the CFH blog…

Tomorrow, and every Saturday, you can come share your adventures in cultured foods, link up, gain some extra views, and come together for fermentation. We’re hosting the Weekly Cultured Gathering and I’d love to see you there.
